Thank you to those that have offered words of encouragement over the past year regarding GGC (a choir class comprised entirely of freshmen football players) through FB messages, texts, emails and conversations. Now that the spring concert is done, these young men have a sense of pride in the way they enter my classroom. They wear their choir shirts proudly and they refer to their class as GGC: Alpha Chapter.

Here is your one stop shop for all of the Gridiron Glee Club news coverage. I am looking now for any way to further spread this concept because it has shown remarkable benefits in these young men. Other schools should adopt it. It’s not about choir. It’s about developing leaders and contributing members of society. Music has that power.
